The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers to the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering services which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency explained it's alarmed concerning the superior number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to here reach-out to your high variety of clients/beneficiaries to access sassa status check SASSA services.

“This is mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area on a regular basis. The service level designed for intervention ordeals a substantial inflow of possible beneficiaries, that makes it complicated to the office to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional resources to help the servicing of all clients and boost use of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
